What Can I Do - Short Term
Our idea of short-term missions generally encompasses anytime period between two and eight weeks. If you are considering coming to be with us for such an amount of time, there are numerous areas in our program where you may be able to lend your services within a short period of time.
Education — Although your time with us may be limited, there are a few ways you can work within the Kids Learning Center curriculum to enhance and minister to our students.
Saturday Workshops — We have incorporated a concept called Saturday School into our program where boarding students and KLC students come to review work, receive extra tutorials, or generally “detox” from the previous week.
Building Projects – You can help us to expand our learning centers to other areas by assisting with or sponsoring a building project.
Special Interest Meetings – If you have a particular gifting toward women, teenagers, men, AIDS victims, single mothers, etc., then you can hold a meeting with some of the people in our town, who may need to hear from someone who can speak to and help educate them in a unique way.
Medical Missions – If you would like to come to our village to give of your professional knowledge as a doctor, dentist, optometrist, etc., we would welcome you to come to provide education as well as treatment for our communities.
Special Project – If you are talented in the arts and would like to come and teach the children in dance, drama, art, or music, we would gladly have to come work with our students in the arts.
