The Learning Centers

Goshen International oversees the creation of learning centers throughout Africa. Our model, the Kids Learning Center (KLC) in Kurland, South Africa, was established with the idea that children need a fortified educational foundation coupled with outlets for creativity and artistic stimulation in order to excel in the “new South Africa.” Therefore, KLC helps reinforce the general knowledge that children obtain from school in a healthy learning environment, so that when Colored and Black students are granted the opportunity to transfer to an institution that requires higher academic standards, they can be successful.

Our learning centers function to:

  • Provide an opportunity for students to personally experience and know Jesus Christ
  • Increase students’ academic knowledge so that they can compete in an integrated school setting
  • Assist by paying school and tutorial fees for our graduates who move on to integrated school settings
  • Provide a daily meal and distribute clothing and shoes as needed
  • Instruct students in Biblical world-view and leadership principles
  • Promote early abstinence and family education
  • Provide Fine Arts Enrichment Programs
